Craft Fairs and a Grand Opening

Getting out on this crisp, cool weekend? Here are highlights of what's happening near Northeast Cobb.

Just before the holiday season gets started, a number of church craft fairs will be going on this weekend in Northeast Cobb to get you in the mood. 

The  runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church at 1770 Johnson Ferry Rd.

This is the 26th annual event sponsored by the Mount Zion United Methodist Women. The work of more than 50 artists will be on display, along with prizes, a bake sale and more. Free admission.

On Saturday, Faith Lutheran Church is holding the Faith Craft Shoppe. This arts and crafts sale, a joint effort by the Faith Ladies Guild and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The church is at 2211 Lower Roswell Rd. 

Johnson Ferry Baptist Church is having its Fall Sample Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 955 Johnson Ferry Rd.

And finally, calling all foodies: The Cook's Warehouse, recently opened at the Merchant's Walk Shopping Center, is holding its from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. The address is 1311 Johnson Ferry Rd., next to Whole Foods.
