Can We Improve the Cobb Animal Shelter?

Gather around the water cooler to discuss what's happening in Northeast Cobb today, May 10.

1. State Representative Bobby Franklin has responded to a resident's email regarding his offensive statement about tornado victims. A woman named Jenny Hodges replied on his behalf. She wrote, "I assist Rep. Franklin with his hate mail on occasion which is why you have received a response from me." I emailed Ms. Hodges. No response. More on Franklin's reply in an article this afternoon.

2. If you read Monday's police blotter, you noted that lawn equipment, car parts and tools have been stolen at various Northeast Cobb locations. The recession has cause desperate people to steal most items not under lock-and-key. Please keep your belongings stored and secured when not in use.

Remember to lock your car doors, always. Don't make it easy for someone to steal from you by leaving car doors unlocked.
