Interested in DAR? Free Genealogy Workshop

The Old Noonday Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is offering a free genealogy workshop in East Cobb on Saturday, February 15th from 2 to 5.  This workshop is specific to completing an application for membership and will be of interest to those considering membership, as well as, current DAR members interested in supplementals.  Much of the information will apply to NSSAR (Sons of the American Revolution) membership as well.  The guest lecturer and genealogist will be Betty Christy of the Fielding Lewis Chapter.  Old Noonday Daughters will be on hand to help with any questions.

Today's DAR is a growing and diverse group encompassing all colors, religions, and politics.  Old Noonday's members range in age from 19 to 82 including mothers with young children, business professionals, and retired members from many walks of life.  For interested women who trace their ancestry back to the American Revolution, this workshop will provide basic information to help you get a running start on your application for NSDAR.  Please contact info@oldnoondaydar.org.
