 nd other friends at our 12th annual golf outing on Monday\, May 21\, 201
 2 at Eagle Watch Golf Club\, 3055 Eagle Watch Dr.\, Woodstock\, GA30189.
 \n&ldquo\;We will have a great day of golf at Eagle Watch Golf Course in
  Woodstock\,&rdquo\; said St. Andrew United Methodist Men&rsquo\;s Presi
 dent Gordon Mosley. &ldquo\;This is the only fundraiser that our group h
 as each year to help us meet the needs of less fortunate families in our
  area during Thanksgiving and Christmas.&rdquo\;\n&ldquo\;For the last f
 ew years\, we have provided a weeks&rsquo\; supply of groceries\, includ
 ing turkeys or hams\, for 75 families during Thanksgiving and Christmas\
 ,&rdquo\; he said. &ldquo\;We have also provided Christmas gifts to thei
 r 200 children.&rdquo\;\nThe event will follow a Ft. Lauderdale Scramble
  format. Each golfer who participates will receive a gift package. Door 
 prizes will also be awarded to lucky winners at lunch following the comp
 etition.\nCost is $95 for an individual player and $15 for individual lu
 nch only. Registration will take place from 8 &ndash\; 9 a.m. followed b
 y a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Team sponsorships\, flag sponsorships\, and

  celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2012. Founded in April 1962 by a sm
 all group of dedicated Methodists who originally met at Blackwell School
 \, St. Andrew United Methodist Church takes pride in being a family of c
 aring\, nurturing followers of Jesus Christ who welcome all those seekin
 g to know and grow in God&rsquo\;s service.\nChurch founders chose the n
 ame St. Andrew because the apostle Andrew is considered a &ldquo\;do-er\
 ,&rdquo\; doing the work of the Lord. The first sanctuary\, completed in
  1964\, is now our Community Room. Today\, our church family has grown t
 o include more than 350 families dedicated to doing the work of the Lord
 . Church members accomplish this through various ministries in which we 
 hope all members of our congregation will become involved.\nSt. Andrew U
 MC&rsquo\;s congregation includes residents of Marietta\, Kennesaw\, and
  other communities in northern Cobb County\, as well as residents of Woo
 dstock\, Towne Lake\, and other communities in southern Cherokee County.
