Abigail Fincannon, a custom jewelry designer, got her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Jewelry and Metals at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Over the summer of 2010, she began developing her line of jewelry, called Mettle, at David Douglas Diamonds. "The whole reason I got in to jewelry and art was because I had plenty of things I wanted to share with the world and I truly loved the relationship people have with their jewelry," said Fincannon. Malena Bisanti-Wall discovered her artistic ability playing with her mother’s homemade salt dough and making paper dolls. Growing up, she enjoyed exploring watercolors, photography, mixed media, and collage. It wasn’t until she was an adult that she took her first clay class, and she was hooked! Q.
