Proud of what she has accomplished, she started Kaminski’s with her late husband, Ed, in what used to be a parking lot off Post Oak Tritt. “I’ve always loved jewelry,” Kaminski said. Her's is a rags to riches story. “I managed a gold buying store, and my husband began taking jewelry on consignment and selling it in the driveway of the house we were renting.” Zoning put an end to that, so they rented the store’s present parking lot for $25 a week. …
Master mechanic and small-business owner Scott De Long has been servicing cars for 22 years in Northeast Cobb. At his present location for 10 years, Scott De Long’s Auto Service on 2140 Post Oak Tritt Road, De Long manages a team of five mechanics. They specialize in major repairs, such as fuel lines, transmissions, brakes, vacuum hoses and engines, as well as regular car maintenance and oil changes.
