Youth Pastor Leaves Noonday Baptist Church

Youth Pastor Shad Goltz and his family are leaving to lead a new ministry in Florida. A reception in his honor will be held Feb. 5.

Noonday Baptist Church Youth Pastor Shad Goltz and family are following God's leading to a new ministry in Florida.

Goltz has been on staff at Noonday since 2005. He had the privilege of growing up at Noonday. He has worked with middle school and high school students since 2005. He was in charge of the church's recreation ministry, which includes a fall and spring t-ball/baseball league and the chaplaincy for the Kell High School football team.

Goltz, with wife Mary and two children, Caleb and Lily, will remain at Noonday for two more weeks. 

Noonday is holding a reception Goltz and his family Feb. 5 from 5-8 p.m. There will be a short service to honor him followed by a reception time to give everyone an opportunity to say his or her blessings to the Goltz family.

Noonday Baptist Church is located at 4121 Canton Road in Northeast Cobb.
