Election Day is six weeks from today and the deadline to register to vote in the November election is Oct. 9.

Tuesday was National Voter Registration Day. If you’re unsure if you're registered, visit the Georgia Secretary of State website.

Check with the Cobb Elections site for more information about voting precincts and local elections details. 

In 2008, six million Americans didn't vote because they missed a registration deadline or didn't know how to register.
