This week we are sharing a view around town at midnight. It has a much different feel without the sun shining, yet there was something calm and peaceful about it.

I love this series of photographs, Julie. The green traffic light reflecting on the rain-slick road is a favorite. The streetlights reflected on the cherry blossoms makes the landscape appear so foreign and different, yet beautiful.

Thanks, Julia! It was a totally new way to look at things. At night, I usually just focus on driving through the darkness safely, but actively searching for beautiful illuminated scenes was exciting and gave me a totally different perspective on what elegance can look like.
