Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb County needs your help to save dogs and cats.

A group of Cobb County Animal Shelter dogs and cats are scheduled for transport to Midwest Animal Rescue (MARS) in Minnesota. The target date is Jan. 21.
Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb County needs your help to get each animal a bus ticket. The group needs to raise $1,300. The transport will save animals' lives and offer a chance for adoption.
Donations as little as $10 will help get the dogs and cats to safety.

Friends of Shelter Animals of Cobb County is composed of volunteers dedicated to helping shelter animals have a chance at a new life.
About MARS
Midwest Animal Rescue Services is dedicated to providing unsurpassed standards for quality care, client education and training of companion animals, to promote responsible pet ownership while uniting fellow rescuers in the pursuit of ending animal homelessness.
The dedicated and passionate group rescues dogs and cats that are at risk and homeless through no fault of their own, as well as puppy mill rescues. Once in their care, the companion animals are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.
MARS does not have a shelter facility for boarding. It is a foster-based rescue group that runs on the support and aid of dedicated volunteers. The pets live in homes, as family members, receiving all of the love and care they would in an adoptive home, until they are adopted.
MARS boasts a 98 percent adoption success rate.

So very happy to help!! I volunteer at Cobb County Animal Control and LOVE that these babies will be safe :) Ty all involved, period. You are rockstars/heros for these dogs. Yes, the article is just outstanding so ty anyone involved as Cobb County AC has made huge strides in the past year to think outside of the box to get cats/dogs to safety. MARS, u rock!

Thanks for all that you and other volunteers do Tisha! I hear that only a couple hundred dollars has been raised, which is great, but I hope the $1300 goal can be reached so that all the scheduled dogs and cats can make the journey.

I will be coming back into town Wednesday. Please let us know where you are at on the fund-raising then... so it can be met. The Shelter is one of my favorite Charitable groups, as I am half Cherokee and love All of the Almighty's creatures. This is a Worthy Cause that deserves Support.
