The Pope boys and Kell girls both won their subregions and have No. 1 seeds heading into the Region 7-AAAAA basketball tournament that starts Tuesday at Sprayberry High School.

The semifinalists all qualify for the Georgia High School Association state tournament.

First up at Sprayberry is the girls side of the competition, with the schedule as follows:
