Special Olympians Shoot Hoops
The 2011 Winter Games bring basketball players from across Georgia to Northeast Cobb for three days.
Basketball teams from throughout Georgia came together to compete in the Winter Games 2011 for the Special Olympics. The competition was held at The Summit at ATPP on Canton Road from Jan. 21 to 23. The 52 teams and nearly 300 athletes competed in 15 divisions, with gold and silver medals awarded in each division. Enjoy the video and slideshow of the three-day event.
