Readers' Choice: Preschools
What's your pick for the best place in Northeast Cobb to take care of and teach your young children?
Nothing is more precious than your children, so nothing shows more trust than your choice of preschool.
This week we want to know that choice as Northeast Cobb Patch Readers' Choice looks to name our users' favorite preschool.
Below are some of the top options in Northeast Cobb, but if your pick isn't on the list, let us know so we can add it:
- Angel Academy Center.
- Doodle Buggs.
- Faces.
- Giggles Learning Center.
- The Goddard School (Trickum Road).
- Kids 'R' Kids International.
- Kids 'R' Kids of East Cobb.
- Meadows Montessori.
- Montessori School of Woodstock.
- Noonday Christian Academy.
- Mountain View United Methodist Church.
- Ray-Thomas Preschool.
- Sandy Plains Baptist Church.
- St. Andrew United Methodist Church.
Voting in the poll is open until 9 a.m. Friday.
The winner will be based on the poll results and positive reviews and ratings in Northeast Cobb Patch Places for the preschools. So after you vote in the poll, be sure to click on the name of the preschool above so you can give your pick a five-star rating and review.
If there's a tie, we'll break it based on the most positive comments, so if you love your preschool, tell us why in the comment section below.
We will announce the winner at noon Friday.
Next week, we'll need your help to find readers' favorite place in Northeast Cobb to get sweet tea.

Mt. Zion United Methodist Church (on Johnson Ferry Road) has a wonderful preschool.

Hi, Andrea:
Thanks for the suggestion. Mount Zion falls within East Cobb Patch instead of Northeast Cobb Patch, but I'll let the editor, Wendy, know about your suggestion to add it to her poll (http://patch.com/A-rF1j).

What about Kids R Kids/Sprayberry Academy at the corner of Post Oak Tritt and Sandy Plains? It is a great school! The administration and teachers are fantastic and my son loves to go. They even have a smart board that the classes use often to help teach. He is 4 and they are discussing the solar system right now.

Well, K Kane, believe it or not, the border between East Cobb Patch and Northeast Cobb Patch runs down the middle of Sandy Plains Road, there, and Kids R Kids is on the wrong side. But East Cobb Patch isn't using that location for this Readers' Choice, so I'll add it tonight, and Tuesday you can vote for it.

Caring, clean, safe, fun, and extremely competent! My daughter attended from young 2s onward and graduated in excellent form for kindergarten. She was well prepared for the next stages of her education.

Both of my children are alumni of St. Andrew UMC Preschool and I cannot say enough good things about the program there. Both of my children were definitely ahead of the game going into kindergarten and are still top of their class now. Helen Geesey, the Preschool Director, has such an amazing talent for running that school and the staff is incredible. HIghly recommend St. Andrew Precshool for children in the area!!

These are great comments. I hope parents looking for preschools will see them. If you can, click on the preschool name in the story and post your reviews and ratings on the school's listing. That way, parents visiting at any time will be able to see how much you love your school.

I cannot say enough good things about Saint Andrews preschool. My daughter graduated last year and started kindergarten already reading and writing! My 5 year old is going there now and has tremendously learned so much, while 3 year old simply loves it and you can see easily see how much he has also developed. I cannot wait for my 5 month old to start in a couple of years. Saint Andrews has really done a great job developing my children. When I had to fill out a form for my daughter's school, they asked what would I change about the preschool she attended. I could not find anything at all to say and that is truly a tribute to the wonderful job that everyone does at the school. I believe that it is the best that I can offer for my children
