Poll: Would You Sue Over Fake Facebook Profile?

A cyberbullying case in Cobb lands in court as a middle school student sues two classmates over a Facebook account she believes they set up in her name.

Palmer Middle School student Alexandria Boston has filed a lawsuit against two classmates she believes created a fake Facebook page in her name, reports Roswell Patch.

The libel suit, in part, suggests Boston uses drugs and has left obscene and racists posts on other profiles, according to the Associated Press

Roswell lawyer Natalie Woodward, whose firm just recently moved onto Canton Street, has been hired to represent Boston.

According to The American Bar Association Journal, police have said that the incident did not constitute a crime. Palmer school officials have said the Facebook page was not created on school computers.
