Dear Northeast Cobb Residents and business owners,

The purpose of this letter is to briefly introduce myself as Northeast Cobb Patch's new Local Editor. I took over the Northeast Cobb Patch starting on June 25.

I will soon be attending Patch's editorial boot camp program in New York City, but first I want to reach out to as many Northeast Cobb citizens and businesspeople as possible.

As my first step in this process, I want to hear from Northeast Cobb's citizenry and business community about the things you would like to see displayed on your Patch page!

It is my goal to foster engagement and build a online community of Northeast Cobb residents and business owners who not only read the articles on our site, but post pictures, promote sales and new product offerings, and contribute to a “virtual coffee house” atmosphere.

As a step to create this atmosphere, Northeast Cobb Patch is looking for new bloggers, to expand the conversation and provide more of a two way street between readers and the site. If you have an interest in adding your voice to the conversation, please get in touch with me!

Additionally, if you would like to promote your business on our page by taking ownership of your business' listing in our Directory, contributing relevant articles to our site, or by buying advertising with Patch, I would be more than happy to assist you in starting that process.

As your new local editor, I believe that my most important opening task is learning how both Northeast Cobb Patch and I can better serve the residents and business owners of this outstanding community.
