McCleskey and Nicholson Schools Celebrate Academic Achievement

McCleskey Band joined with Nicholson ES students to celebrate the 100th day of school and Student Academic Achievement. The McCleskey band performed several exciting tunes.

The McCleskey band performed for Nicholson students under the direction of band director Jody Miller.
McCleskey band members performed "pep music" for the Nicholson students.

Each year Nicholson Elementary School celebrates the 100th day of school. It also celebrates the 100 Plus Club, a club dedicated to student academic achievements.

Nicholson Kindergarten through fifth-grade students were recognized for academic achievements.

McCleskey Middle School band members performed pep music during the Nicholson celebration. A magician from Calhoun performed.

"Nicholson Elementary is the feeder school into our middle school. Nicholson Principal Wanda Shue organizes the event," McCleskey band director Jody Miller said. "Our two schools collaborate often."
