Local Area MeetUps This Week
These meetings are great ways to expand your business or social circles.
The social website MeetUp.com exists to allow people with similar interests to join together and make new friendships or business relationships. Below are some of the events happening this week in our area.
Tuesday
- Tuesday Open Networking at Capozzi's is hosting a networking event called TONIC (Tuesday Open Networking at Capozzi's). It is a great way for businesspeople to make new connections and share best practices. The event will be at 7:30 a.m. and costs $3 for the coffee and $7 for breakfast.
Wednesday
- Kennesaw Area Business Networking is hosting their monthly luncheon at Provino's off of Barrett Parkway. Exchange business cards, talk shop, and chow down on some delicious Italian food.
- Atlanta Misfits is hosting Geek Trivia at Battle & Brew. Please RSVP by 11:45 p.m. Tuesday. It's also suggested that you eat before heading out to the event.
Thursday
- The Northwest Georgia 9/12 Project is holding a meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Cherokee Cattle Co. This organization wants to restore the American government to the principles ordained in the Constitution. If you believe in limited government and an America that the Founding Fathers intended, this meeting is for you.
Saturday
- Woodstock Vegan will be screening the movie Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead at 8:00 p.m. at Ember Yoga. Popcorn and chairs will be provided. This event is free and open to the public.
- The Weekend Funseekers are hosting their first ever event, a dinner and a movie, starting at 7:00 p.m. Dinner will be at T.G.I. Friday's, and will be followed by a viewing of the movie "Lawless."
