We just watched Lassiter (now 9-3) upset mighty McEachern (10-2), 20-17, in chilly Powder Springs in the second round of the Georgia High School Association's AAAAA football playoffs.
The winner will play the Brookwood-M.L. King victor next week. The loser can pig out at Thanksgiving dinner without worrying about a game the next day.
