After their performance last week, the Needham High School volleyball team now stands at 4-2 and has been ranked in the top-15 by the Boston Globe for the first time.

The Lady Jackets of Sprayberry High School are getting a well-deserved day off from competition tonight, although there is a 3:00 p.m. volleyball practice scheduled.
For the other two Northeast Cobb high schools, there is work to be done on the court and on the field this evening. Two softball and four volleyball games are on tap for night, so let's break down who's playing who where and in what sport.
Lassiter
- Lady Trojans JV and Varsity Softball teams will be up against their visitng counterparts from Roswell. The JV game starts at 5 p.m., followed by a 6:30 first pitch for the varsity.
- Lady Trojans Varsity Volleyball is at Marietta tonight to play East Cobb rivals Walton at 6, followed by a game with the host squad at 7.
Kell
- Lady Longhorns JV Volleyball takes the court at Kennesaw Mountain for two games this evening. The Lady Longhorns take on the hosting Lady Mustangs at 5:15, followed by a 6:15 match with the Lady Hoyas of Harrison.
