The East Cobb Kiwanis invites prospective new members to its weekly dinners and to learn about its service programs.

The dinners begin each Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the South of the Border/Paradise Grill, 3605 Sandy Plains Road.

The stated mission of the Kiwanis Club is:

"The Kiwanians of the East Cobb Kiwanis Club work together to achieve what an individual cannot accomplish alone.

"We volunteer for civic and humanitarian projects. We raise money for direct donation to local community organizations. We meet weekly to learn more about civic issues or personal growth. Our focus is to make our area a better place in which to live."
