Addison Students Launch Rockets
Addison Elementary School fourth graders held a rocket launch Dec. 15. Addison is one of the only schools in the district where each child launches their own rocket. The teachers even have the kids doing trigonometry.
Addison Elementary School fourth grade Advance Learning Program (ALP) students had their official rocket launch on Thursday morning, Dec. 15. Weather conditions were perfect for launching. Students came prepared to do the math and talk about rockets.
These Northeast Cobb students may well be the next NASA superstars.
