Travis Hankins, Lassiter High School alum and quarterback, has been named to the Southwestern College Moundbuilder football team.

Southwestern College football has a rich history. Southwestern has had 41 All-Americans, captured 12 conference championships, made four national playoff appearances, and played in four bowl games.

"Now that we're in the thick of the season, we are even more pleased with the young men we have on the Moundbuilder football team. We recruit based on character off the field as well as talent on the field, and this group is top-notch. I am proud to be called their head coach," says head coach Ken Crandall.
