Expect delays and traffic congestion Monday-Friday as the Cobb County Department of Transportation conducts periodic lane closures from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for fine grading, clean-up, final signal and miscellaneous completion work.

The scheduled road construction at the Sandy Plains and East Piedmont intersection for this week is complete, but there will be lane closures 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday for the final paving.

If you plan to visit Sprayberry High School, Chick-Fil-A or nearby businesses, expect traffic delays. Plan your travel accordingly.
